Keller commissioned Eka Infra Consultants Private Limited (Eka Infra) to provide consultancy services for the pre-bid engineering of the proposed Liquid terminal on west coast of India. Eka Infra’s advisory services provided expert guidance in the preparation of the technical bid and supported the submission of a comprehensive proposal to the end Client.

Eka Infra’s scope of work includes:

Pre-Bid Queries Formulation

• Review of tender documents, including RFP, specifications, drawings, and addenda. Identified unclear points and categorized them into technical, commercial, and timeline-related queries.

Contract Review and Advice

• Highlighting critical contractual clauses and providing recommendations.

Design Basis Report (DBR)

• Outline the foundation criteria for the design to include project overview, design criteria, assumptions, load and environmental conditions, safety and risk considerations, and operational requirements.

Geotechnical and Slope Stability Analysis

• Recommendations for geotechnical parameters as part of the tender and slope stability analysis
  for Rock Bund.

Tender Engineering Design and Drawings

• Preparation of Tender engineering design and drawings.

MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Works

• Preparation of Design Basis Report, tender level design and drawings including BoQ along with cost estimates and quotes from key vendors.
• Providing approved vendor list for key items for MEP works.

Bill of Quantities (BoQ)

• Preparation of Bill of Quantities basis the agreed design and drawings and including cost estimate with backup calculation

Risk Assessment

• Outlining uncertainty and events that can adversely impact project objectives.

Construction Methodology and Scheduling

• Preparation of the Construction methodology including Planning and Scheduling of construction activities along with 3D model.

Tender Assistance

• Providing assistance with filling out tender forms stipulated by the end Client.

Temporary Structure Design

• Design of key temporary structures including gantries, staging arrangements for dolphins, and load-out jetty, etc.

Cost Optimization Alternatives

• Providing alternative designs and options to explore the probable reduction in cost for the post bid discussion.
