Project Overview
Eka Infra Consultants provided Stage 2 project management consultancy (PMC) services for contract administration and claims management for a Flyover and a Retaining Wall projects in Kota, Rajasthan.
The assignment followed an earlier engagement involving evaluation of the admissibility of Price Variation (PV) claims during the extended project period. Under Stage 2, Eka Infra supported management of Extension of Time (EOT), Price Variation, and prolongation-related claims, including contractual correspondence, claim submissions, final statements, and invoicing support through project close-out.
Scope of Services
- Review of Stage 1 claim evaluations and recommended actions for both projects
- Preparation and submission of EOT correspondence and claim documentation
- Assessment and submission of Price Variation (PV) and prolongation cost claims
- Review and response to contractual communications related to delays and EOT provisions
- Preparation of rebuttals and reservation of rights on contractual entitlements
- Inclusion of unsettled claims in final statements
- Support during agreement of final statements and raising of invoices
Outcome
The assignment supported structured management of contractual correspondence and claims during project close-out, including EOT, price variation, and prolongation matters. Eka Infra also assisted in final statement preparation and invoicing processes for both projects.
