Development Works At Gopalpur Port – Odisha

Gopalpur port is located along the coast of Bay of Bengal in the state of Odisha. It offers viable rail and road connectivity and is the key port for handling the growing marine traffic.

In 2018, we were appointed by Gopalpur Ports Limited (GPL) to provide Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services. The scope of services involved completion of the South & Intermediate breakwater, construction of rock bund, new berth-01, berth-02, 4nr approach trestles, compound wall/fencing, groynes/beach nourishment, back-up yard with conveyor system and rail sidings. Furthermore, the scope included new designs, verification and rehabilitation of existing damaged structures, complete the remaining civil works and cost status of the project.

This project was based on the Build, Own, Operate, Share and Transfer (BOOST) format.
