Eka Infra provides mooring analysis through OPTIMOOR software. This mooring analysis programme takes input data for a
vessel and berth, and computes the mooring forces produced by defined wind, wave, current, and other forces
as well as changes in draught and tide.

The analysis allows several different moorings, environments, draught and tide situations to be quickly investigated so a vessel’s
mooring arrangement can be planned accordingly. The software can be used for studying mooring of ships to a pier/jetty,
ship-2-ship mooring, Turret and Single Point mooring and Solar Farms mooring to name a few.

The OPTIMOOR Dynamic version uses vessel hydrodynamic characteristics based on moving axes rather than earth-based axes,
to perform a dynamic mooring analysis. With time-varying wind and current data input, the programme will calculate the
corresponding time when varying forces are applied to the moored vessel and perform a dynamic analysis.

The OPTIMOOR Wave Response Module (previously called Seakeeping Option) uses special Hydrodynamic Coefficient data files
(HCF) to calculate first-order wave induced vessel motions. Each HCF file comprises a set of 6 degrees of freedom hydrodynamic data,
which were generated from the AQWA program.

OPTIMOOR uses the HCF data to calculate the relevant response amplitude operators (RAO’s) for a water depth, vessel size, draft, trim,
GM, and roll damping which are specified by the user.
