55th National Safety Month 2026

55th National Safety Month 2026

Theme: Engage, Educate and Empower People for Safety

National Safety Month 2026 at Eka Infra was observed through a series of focused initiatives that reinforced our commitment to building a safety-first organization across office, site, and personal environments.
The following activities came together to make this a meaningful step forward in strengthening an engaged and HSE-driven culture.

Prevention & Response (Awareness Focus)

A structured approach to prevention and response was reinforced through targeted communication and discussion, focusing on planning, risk identification, accountability, and clear actions during on-ground situations.

Team Presentation Challenge

One of the key highlights of the month was a team presentation challenge, where teams explored safety through diverse and thought-provoking themes.

  • “If I were the Safety Manager for a Day” – building proactive systems through daily briefings, hazard identification, and continuous improvement
  • Smart Safety & Innovation – using AI, IoT, wearables, and real-time data for predictive risk management
  • Safe by Design (“Impossible Workplace”) – eliminating unsafe acts through engineering controls, interlocks, and intuitive design

The ideas were practical, forward-looking, and highlighted a clear shift towards design-led, technology-enabled, and people-driven safety.

Safety Talks

Two focused sessions extended the conversation:

  • Physical Safety – “Your Body, Your Responsibility”
  • Psychological Safety – “The Courage to Speak Up”

These emphasized both everyday risk awareness and the importance of open communication.

HSE Recognition & Awards

As part of the celebrations, we also presented the HSE – Employee of the Year Awards (HO and Projects), recognizing individuals who demonstrated strong commitment, leadership, and ownership towards safety practices.

Safety Communication

Safety creatives developed for LinkedIn and the company newsletter extended engagement beyond internal activities, helping to educate, engage, and reinforce shared responsibility for safety in line with this year’s theme.

Snapshots below from the month capture these moments of participation, innovation, and recognition 😊
