Job Details:
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall project management for the works
under the mandate. He / She must have hands on experience in the execution of conveyor system at
a Port facility rom the Berth to the Yard area plus silos, wagon loading system, mobile harbour cranes,
ship loader, electrical and automation etc. He / She is required to be on the project from start until the
commissioning of the facility and also extend his services to training and capacity building.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the EPC package from start to finish
• Ensure projects are completed within budget, on time, and to the highest quality standards
• Coordinate with Client, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are
met
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets using scheduling software – MS Project
• Ensure proper review and approval of RFI’s and submittals by the PMC engineers under his
supervision
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is progressing according to plan and share gap analysis
report
• Manage project documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Provide regular project status updates to senior management
• Overseeing HSE activities and maintenance and UpToDate records.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• 15+ years of experience in project management of port related MHS activities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and be able to lead and manage resources
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Ability to manage multiple positions and disciplines

Master Planning Engineer - Infrastructure

Eka Infra Consultants Pvt Ltd (Eka Infra) is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer specializing in Ports and Logistics projects to join our esteemed team. As a Planning Engineer with expertise in Ports and Logistics, He/she will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of marine infrastructure projects and other civil infrastructure.
This role will be responsible for effective project execution and include:
- Delivery of assignments to high quality
- Client management
- External and internal coordination
- Proposal preparation prior to submission to clients

Key Responsibilities/ Essential Job Functions:
- Provide planning and advisory services including master planning, feasibility studies, technical assessment studies, techno-economic viability studies and other development studies for infrastructure projects to ensure the viability and suitability of infrastructure projects, considering factors such as functional requirements, capacity, development control regulations, concept/ layout planning, assistance for preliminary designs/ drawings, evaluation of environmental, social, statutory and regulatory norms.
- Utilize advanced software tools such as AutoCAD, 3D modelling etc. for concept/ master planning and layout preparations.
- Undertake financial modelling, financial assessment, traffic forecasting, transaction advisory services, project structuring and project appraisal services. • Assist in tender documentation, claim and contract management services. • Assist in project management by keeping a track of the projects, reviewing/ preparing project forms, procedures, flow charts, correspondences and progress reports such as DPR, WPR and MPR.
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects and other engineering disciplines to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for complex infrastructure challenges. • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, workbooks etc., conducting site visits, coordinating team members, attending meetings and conferences.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and recommend appropriate modifications or corrective actions.
- Assist in providing inputs for inside sales, tender evaluation, proposals, bidding, digital marketing, training and other technical assistance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in infrastructure and ports/ logistics planning.
- Provide technical assistance to Senior Management/ Project Team on various technical aspects as and when required.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff. • Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards throughout all project phases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and master’s degree in planning/Urban Design/Architecture/Marine/Logistics and/or any related field.
- Professional Certifications or other relevant qualifications in planning and advisory services.
- Experience in planning, design, and construction of ports and logistics projects, which include minimum 5 years master planning/ land use planning/ transport planning experience after master’s degree.
- Sound knowledge of planning of ports and logistics projects based on Indian and International standards.
- Sound knowledge of software such as AutoCAD, 3D Modelling, etc. for concept/ master planning and layout preparations.
- Robust writing skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS PPT
- Expertise in data and statistical analysis including hands on experience with software such as Power BI
- Able to work under pressure to meet the schedule requirement of fast-track projects. • Able to manage more than one projects simultaneously.

Manager - Contracts

Key Responsibilities/ Essential Job Functions:
- Review all RFP’s, their terms and conditions, assist in proposal preparation, review of agreements between organization and Client/sub-contractors to identify any deviations from Eka Infra’s standard terms
- Proactive Handling of contract management including contract analysis, strategy planning, implementation, evaluation, researching, analyzing, and reporting to include project close out while improving profitability

- Handle the management of claims to / from contract and sub-suppliers as required
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents for EPC/Item rate or any other form of Contract.
- Address and support CRM/SCM/Sales team in clarifying all contract related terms at bidding stage.
- Prepare proposals for claims and contract management in line with the prescribed norms and formats.
- Reviews all progress reports and schedule updates before submission to client
- Maintains project wise claims register and ensures periodic review and settlement of claims.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and master’s degree in contract management / administration and/or any related field
- Professional Certifications or other relevant qualifications in claims and contract management
- Experience in managing multiple bid process, projects and tender preparation and documentation

- Sound knowledge of structural design of heavy civil structures based on Indian and International standards, marine structures experience a plus
