National Electrical Safety Week – 2022
Date: 16 August 2022.
The National Electrical Safety Week campaign kicked off on June 26th of this year, with the support of India’s government and its Central Electricity Authority (CEA), Govt of India. The theme of this year’s National Electrical Safety Week Campaign was “Avoid Loose Wires—Prevent Electrical Fires” – aiming on safe electrical connection and reducing the number of electrical fires, fatalities, injuries, and property loss.
Electrical Safety is gaining importance as more injuries, fires and deaths are reported, concerning the unsafe use of electricity in hospitals, malls, hotels, and other establishments. It’s important for our entire community to get involved in making electrical safety a social movement.
Eka Infra observed the National Electrical Safety Week from June 26 to July 2, 2022. The goal of the NESW is to renew employees’ commitment to safe electrical use and increase awareness about it.
During National Electrical Safety Week, Eka Infra conducted Electrical Safety Training for all employees and ensured that all electrical connections were in good condition. Firefighting equipment was also made available at the office.
Every day, we depend upon electricity to power our homes and offices. So, it’s important that those involved with electrical work adhere to safety regulations to avoid accidents caused by improper use of the resource.
Always remember that “To STAY ALIVE, you have to STAY ALERT”.
