Master Planning and Engineering Design Services for MMLP at Bengaluru
An initiative of the National Highway Logistics Management Limited (NHLML), the MMLP at Bengaluru is going to be the first and largest MMLP in India to be implemented under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan. PATH India Pvt. Ltd. have won the bid to develop and operate the MMLP at Bengaluru basis a DBFOT (Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer) model.
Eka Infra has been appointed by PATH India Pvt. Ltd to provide Master Planning and Engineering Design Services for the development of the MMLP. The facility will be spread over an area of 392 acres and developed over a period of 15 years in three phases. The aim of the MMLP will be intermodal connectivity and transit/ long-term storage facilities for bulk and container cargo. Phase 1 construction is scheduled to be completed by December 2025.
PATH India Pvt. Ltd (PATH), in 2023, won the bid to develop and operate the Multi Modal Logistics Park at Bengaluru. This is an initiative of the National Highway Logistics Management Limited (NHLML). It will be the first and over the longer term the largest MMLP in India implemented under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan. It is strategically located in the KIADB industrial corridor near Nelamangala on NH648 and has connectivity to the Railway corridor as well. The facility will be spread over an area of 392 acres. This will be developed in three phases over 15 years.
The aim of the MMLP is to improve intermodal connectivity, provide transit/ long-term storage facilities for bulk and container cargo.
Eka Infra Consultants Pvt. Ltd. was selected by PATH as design consultants for the Master Planning and Engineering Design for the MMLP. Eka Infra’s scope of work includes:
- Benchmarking and planning study
- Concept and Phasing plan
- Cost Estimates
- Master Planning and related submission
- 3D rendering and video walkthroughs
- Preliminary engineering of Phase-1, including all geotechnical engineering
- Tender level design, drawings, BoQ and technical specifications
- Detailed design and GFC drawings
- Design support during construction
Phase 1 construction is scheduled to be completed by December 2025.
